Ordering and files
Which file types can I upload?
STL, OBJ and 3MF quote instantly. STEP and IGES files are converted on our server first; until that's live, send them as a special request and we'll quote within one business day.
How big a file can I upload?
Up to 100 MB for a quote. Files up to about 20 MB attach to your order automatically, and we compress larger ones when we can; for anything bigger we email you an upload link after checkout. Exporting at 0.01 mm tolerance keeps most files small.
My part shows up tiny. What happened?
STL files don't store units. If your CAD was in inches, switch the part to inches on the quote page and the price updates.
Are my files private?
Yes. Quoting happens in your browser, so nothing uploads until you check out. Then the file is attached to your order at an unlisted link that only our team uses, and it's never shared or used in marketing without permission. We delete files on request and sign NDAs.
Pricing
How do you price parts?
By part volume, the space the part takes in the machine, and a small handling fee, then adjusted for finish, quantity and lead time. The full rate card is on the pricing page.
Is there a minimum order?
Orders under $20 get a small top-up to $20. Each part also has a minimum, from $5 for Nylon 12.
Do you offer quantity discounts?
Yes: 5% at 2 parts, 10% at 5, 18% at 10, 24% at 25, 28% at 50 and 32% at 100 of the same part.
What is the price-beat guarantee?
Show us a published instant quote from a US-made service for the same part, material, finish and ship date, and we'll beat it by 5%.
Lead times and shipping
When will my order ship?
Standard orders ship in 2 business days for resin, 3 for Nylon 12 and 4 for Nylon 11 CF, counted from the next production day. Orders before 2 PM Eastern start the same day.
Can I get parts faster?
Rush ships resin the next business day and Nylon 12 in 2 business days, for 35 to 40% more.
How much is shipping?
Ground shipping is free on orders over $99. Otherwise you pick USPS or UPS at checkout from live rates.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. We ship to US addresses only at launch.
Materials and quality
Which materials do you offer?
SLS Nylon 12, carbon fiber Nylon 11, Formlabs Tough 1500 Resin and Formlabs Flexible 80A Resin, plus any other Formlabs material on request.
What tolerances can I expect?
For SLS nylon, ±0.3 mm or ±0.5% of the dimension, whichever is larger, in the print plane. Resin parts hold tighter detail; mark critical dimensions and we'll check them at QC.
What if a part arrives wrong?
Send a photo within 14 days. If it's a defect or outside published tolerance, we reprint it free or refund it.
Policies
Terms of service
You confirm you own or have rights to every file you upload. We can decline any order. Our liability is limited to the order value, and parts aren't certified for medical, aviation or other safety-critical use unless agreed in writing.
Prohibited items
We don't print firearms, firearm parts or accessories, suppressors or other weapons, anything illegal to own, or counterfeit and trademark-infringing goods. Flagged files are reviewed by a person, and we may cancel and refund.
Intellectual property
We respond to DMCA takedown notices through a registered agent and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Privacy and files
Quotes are calculated in your browser; files upload only when you check out, attached to your order at an unlisted link. They are never shared or used in marketing without permission. We delete files on request and sign NDAs.
Reprints and refunds
Custom parts can't be returned. Defects or parts outside published tolerance, reported within 14 days with photos, are reprinted free or refunded.
Shipping
Orders before 2 PM Eastern on business days start that day. We ship to US addresses with USPS and UPS, and ground is free over $99.
Export control
Don't upload ITAR- or EAR-controlled technical data. We ship within the US only.
