Design rules
- Walls 1.0 mm or thicker (we warn below 0.8 mm)
- 0.5 mm gap between parts that must move or mate
- Hollow parts need two powder escape holes of 3.5 mm or more
- Embossed or engraved text at least 0.5 mm deep
- No supports needed, so internal channels and overhangs are fine

How much does SLS Nylon 12 cost?
We charge $0.35 per cm³ of part volume, $0.01 per cm³ of bounding box and $2.00 handling per part, with a $5.00 minimum per part. A 60 × 20 × 40 mm bracket is $8.78, and quantity discounts start at 2 parts.
Is SLS nylon waterproof?
Raw SLS nylon is slightly porous. Vapor smoothing seals the surface, which makes parts shed water and dirt much better; for pressure-tight parts, tell us so we can test a sample first.
What's the difference between SLS and MJF nylon?
Both fuse nylon powder without supports. SLS uses a laser and MJF uses inkjet agents plus infrared heat. Part strength is similar; SLS parts come out gray or white and are dyed black, while MJF parts are gray-black from the start.
Which colors can I get?
Natural gray or dyed black at launch. Vapor smoothing works on both.
